Gotta Catch ‘Em All! Catch Blastoise from CSToys International!

Mewtwo and Charizard were both popular releases, and Blastoise follows in their footsteps, releasing June, 2013 for ¥3,800. Blastoise is a weird design. Unlike the humanoid Mewtwo, or the thinner Charizard, Blastoise is a thick build Pokémon that doesn’t seem to warrant much articulation. However, that didn’t stop Bandai from releasing one fantastic figure. Detail wise, this is by far the niftiest Blastoise released yet. While pose ability can’t compare with a pre-posed statue, in terms of articulated Blastoise figures, this is the best yet. His structure is mostly made up of ball and socket joints, but he features articulation all around his body, with joints at the shoulders, neck, elbows, claws, thighs, ankles, and even his cannons. He comes with two Hydro Pump effect parts that plug into his cannons. Also included is a Poké Ball Tamashii Stage. While the stage can’t be used with Blastoise, it can act as a balancer, since the Hydro Pump effect can make him front heavy sometimes. Overall, if you’re a Blastoise fan, or a Pokémon fan in general, don’t pass this up. While his articulation is obviously not the best, they managed a great figure out of a bulky design, and I have to give credit where credit is due. Great figure overall.
