The good folks have Bandai have stated that there will be a Starter Deck for every odd numbered set, meaning our third set brings us our second Starter Deck. Each deck contains the same cards, as the deck is entirely pre-constructed. Decks retail for around $9.99 and are available at most major retailers like Target, Walmart, and Toys R Us. Once again the deck focuses on Megaforce and Samurai, but this time, it puts the focus on the Ultra Megaforce and Super Samurai forms. Also included are team cards for Samurai and Megaforce! As I stated in my Booster Box unboxing, cards 91-120 are exclusive to the Starter Deck, so the deck is necessary to complete the set of 120 cards. Also included are two dice, a game mat, and an updated rule book that explains some of the new additions to the game. Overall, it’s a pretty decent set of cards that is necessary for collectors to get their full set. Being a Starter Deck, it’s a great place to start learning the game, and kids today will like having all sorts of cards related to the two newest seasons. Not a bad price for what you’re getting, and worth the pick up in the end.
