Not gonna waste too much time with a description. Most Rider fans know of the Rider Hero Series, a line of 170mm tall vinyl figures representing characters from the show. Each figure has basic paint applications (most usually in the body and head) with unpainted backs, unpainted Drivers, and missing details here or there. Articulation is minimal, with a swivel at the arms and waist. As a toy, they’re pretty minimal, but at roughly $8 a pop normal retail (usually cheaper at some retailers) you’re not really paying for a whole lot, and the size ends up looking rather nice on display with some DX toys. Secondly, if you have a child, these are great toys, as there’s nothing to hurt themselves on, no parts to lose, and best of all affordable to purchase and affordable to replace if damaged or lost. While these are great pick ups if you’re on a budget and want some collection representation, unfortunately it is missing some forms. Gaim Suika Arms (obviously), Baron Mango Arms, Ryugen Kiwi Arms, Gridon Donguri Arms, Kurokage Matsubokkuri Arms, Bravo Durian Arms, as well as the three Energy Riders are all not (at least at the time of this post) getting any sort of RHS release. Despite that, if your favorite character or Arms is released, they’re a nice display piece even with the minimal paint. They serve their purpose.
