There are several Candy Toy lines that bring us small Kamen Rider figures, but they’re never all that poseable. The 66Action line sets to change that by bringing us a series of 66mm (hence the name) figures with 15 points of articulation for only ¥300-¥500 a piece! Each figure includes two sets of hands, a stand that grips their feet and holds the unused set of hands, and some figures come with a weapon to hold as well. The first series consists of Kamen Rider Gaim Orange Arms, Kamen Rider OOO TaToBa Combo, Kamen Rider Decade, and Kamen Rider Shin Ichigo. Gaim includes the Musou Saber, OOO includes the Medajalibur, and Decade includes the Riderbooker in Sword Mode. Since Ichigo never had a weapon, he includes “Rider Chop” hands instead of weapon holding hands. For the price compared to other import figures, these figures are incredibly detailed and poseable. The inclusion of a small stand, extra hands, and a weapon makes the package even sweeter. Considering it’s entirely ball and socket joints, some points of articulation are a little limited, but for what they are, it’s a fantastic line. CSToys sells them individually for ¥500 a piece. AmiAmi, HLJ, and Hobby Search sell them in boxes of 10 for ¥3,180, ¥3,420, and ¥3,800 respectively. Depending on if you want extras, or don’t want a full set, go with whatever route suits you best. As I said, for the price, they’re great little toys for people on a budget, or fans who just don’t have the space for gimmick figures or S.H.Figuarts. Really hope this line goes a long way like Bandai’s other Candy Toy lines.
