Each month, for only $19.99 USD, you receive a box containing a T-Shirt, along with four to six collectibles from a variety of franchises that people love. Also available is the Nerd Block Jr. for both boys and girls, for $13.99. The Nerd Block Jr. doesn’t have a shirt, but contains a few extra toys, and focuses on kids franchises like My Little Pony, Pokémon, Skylanders, etc. Both are great values, and you always receive more than what you pay for. April marks my first jump into the epic world of Nerd Block. I’ve been hesitant on subscribing to one of these things, but after watching videos of Nerd Block and LootCrate for several months, I decided to finally take the plunge after Nerd Block announced Transformers related things entering the Nerd Block world. Plus, for $30 shipped ($19.99 plus shipping), it’s not all that bad of a value. Plus it’s a fun additional piece of content I can bring to my channel outside of my usual reviews and v-logs.

• “Parker’s Spider Bites” T-Shirt
• The Avengers Grab Zag
• Caveman Rabbid Figure (from Rabbids Travel in Time)
• NECA Scalers Predator figure (from Alien vs. Predator)
• Chris Kirkman bendy figure (from Bravest Warriors)
• Ultimate Kreon Collection 5-Pack (from Transformers Kre-O)
For the $19.99 base value, the box was a pretty nice thing, since ShirtPunch shirts alone are $10 before shipping, and the price of the additional toys are well over $10. Despite three of the franchises meaning nothing to me (Rabbids, Predator, Bravest Warriors) it’s still such a fun thing to receive a box in the mail filled with stuff you don’t even know. Addiitonally, as I say in the video, it’s a great gateway to other franchises or lines you might not take a look at. For instance, since I now own a thing from Bravest Warriors (and actually seeing the characters on the box) I’m intrigued. The fun factor of these alone are worth the $19.99 base price.
These aren’t for everyone, since $19.99 can be a lot to blow on what is essentially a grab bag of nerd things, so I understand if anyone hates the idea of these things. Like I said, I thought it was a great way for me to bring something new to my channel. I don’t plan on reviewing anything I ever receive in these Nerd Blocks, but if you want me to open some of the toys on the spot, let me know in the comments, and I’ll start doing that in May’s Nerd Block. I plan to stay subscribed until I get really bored, which may be never. Stay tuned every month and we can see what we get.
