The folks at Pokémon are huge on promo boxes. This one here is a promo box based around the fire-type Pokémon Pyroar. For $14.99 at most major retailers, you get a Pyroar Promo (XY26), along with Sheen Holo versions of the Fiery Torch and Blacksmith Trainer Cards from XY: Flashfire. These two are not promos, but this box is the only way to get these variant holo versions. Along with the three cards you two XY: Flashfire boosters and one XY Booster. Overall, while it really depends on what you get in your packs, $14.99 for three packs and two very playable Trainer Cards isn’t too bad. The Pyroar is unfortunately pretty awful. If this was a reprint of the Intimidating Mane version of Pyroar from XY, the box would beyond worth the purchase. If you’re a collector, it’s a worthy pick up, but for the average player, put your money into tins and the like.
