Every set (usually) two single pack promo blisters and two triple pack promo blisters are released to commemorate the set’s release. Each single pack, as the name suggests, includes one promo card, one booster pack of that set, and one coin. Each triple pack includes one promo card, three booster packs of that set, and one coin.

These blister packs generally include numbered Black Star Promo cards, but lately they have been flooded with variant holo cards instead. Thankfully all four blister packs released for XY: Roaring Skies are all new XY Black Star Promos, which surprised me quite a bit. Included in the two single packs are XY47: Heliolisk and XY48: Meowstic. The two triple packs are XY49: Regirock and XY50: Pangoro. None of them are all that playable, but the art is pretty rad and adding more promos to the collection is always better than silly variant cards that no one really needs. The pulls in these packs were pretty subpar. A lot of the commons were repeated after a few packs and only pulled one singular EX out of eight packs. Regardless, that is better than nothing! Looking forward to getting more Roaring Skies in the future.
