To further throw Lockseeds into our faces until the day that we die, Premium Bandai has decided to continue the Legend Rider Lockseeds by introducing the Capsule Lockseed Armored Rider Set. As the name suggests, this is a set of Lockseeds featuring Armored Riders Gaim, Baron, Ryugen, and Zangetsu. The four Lockseed Set, was released in March 2015 for ¥3,240 before middleman fees.

Each Lockseed is colored like their respective Rider, with the helmet for that Rider molded onto the front, just like the previous Legend Rider Lockseeds. Being Capsule Lockseeds, each Lockseed cycles through the activation, transformation, and attack sounds. The first attack for each Lockseed is that Rider’s respective finisher attack. The second attack sound is that Rider’s weapon name. Finally the third sound is that Rider’s finishing attack with their respective weapon. Each transformation is done in the usual jingle of that Rider, with a slight twist. The end result is actually really cool.

Overall, this is a fun set for sure, but not one that falls into the “must have” category. If you have been keeping up with the Rider Lockseeds, then these are four fantastic additions to the line up. If you’re a HUGE Gaim fan, and want representations like these, they’re great for that purpose too. But if you’re just a more casual collector getting all the Lockseeds from the show, the set is a pretty simple pass, despite how fun they are.
