The first of our two new Zords is the Pachy Zord, a Zord based off of a Pachycephalosaurus. This Zord is the dinosaur partner of the Graphite Ranger, set to debut sometime this season. Included with the Pachy Zord is a Pachy Charger with no foil pattern, currently exclusive to this release. The Pachy Zord features an action feature in which the large wrecking ball on his head flings back to form a ball and chain on his tail. The Pachy Zord is the Dino Charge adaptation of Bunpachy from Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger. Pachy here was purchased from Walmart.com for $16.99.

As mentioned, when you insert a Charger (or just slide the lever all the way back), the Pachy Zord will launch the wrecking ball off its head to become a ball and chain tail. Unfortunately the tail does not actually move a whole lot. The base is on a swivel joint, but unlike the Japanese toy, the actual tail isn’t segmented and is stuck in one place. The Pachy Zord can fold up and become an arm for the Dino Charge Megazord or Ptera Charge Megazord, giving them a ball and chain weapon. There is a ZordBuilder port on the underbelly of the Pachy Zord, allowing it to be connected to ZordBuilder ports on any other Power Rangers toy.

The Pachy Zord has a few flaws, namely the lack of segmented tail. Regardless, it fits in perfectly well with the rest of the Dino Charge line, and makes a perfect addition to the line up for only $16.99.
