To cross promote the Ghost Change Series and Ghost Eyecon Series of toys, Bandai decided to distribute the DX Houdini Ghost Eyecon alongside the DX Machine Hoodie, Specter’s bike and the item that contains the soul of Houdini when the Ghost Eyecon is used. The Machine Hoodie itself is in scale with the Ghost Change Series, and any of the bodies from the line can use it as a vehicle. Splitting the bike apart will reveal the Parka Ghost for Houdini which can slide onto any of the base bodies released in the line. The bike portion can be removed for a more sleek figure, and the figures can ride on top of the split apart bike as a hoverboard. The Houdini Ghost Eyecon can be used in the Ghost Driver to unlock new transformations and sounds for Houdini Damashii. It unfortunately has a different holofoil compared to the other Heroic Ghost Eyecons, instead opting to use the style seen in the Toucon Boost Ghost Eyecon. Supposedly Houdini is considered Specter’s first power up, hence the shared holofoil style with Toucon Boost, but having one Heroic Ghost Eyecon with a different holofoil irks me. Oh well.
