I’m not a super fan of the series by any mean, but I’ve always had a good time with the games. When Fates was revealed, I knew I was going to grab it, but when it was announced that the game would have two paths, and therefore two separate games, I was at a loss of which one to get. Then a third version was announced, and things got even more complex. Thankfully Nintendo decided to make things a bit easier for fans of the series by creating a special edition that encompasses all three games for the price of two, along with a nice 3DS carrying pouch and a beautiful art book detailing locations, characters, items, and more from the game. Unfortunately, finding this for retail price is near impossible if you didn’t preorder it, but hopefully Nintendo will take the hint and release some more soon. Considering this set gives you the third version free, along with all these bonuses, this is certainly the ultimate way to enjoy Fire Emblem Fates.
