[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wCN8wyI0KBQ]The “Collection Boxes” continue with XY: BREAKpoint with the Shiny Mega Gyarados Collection, highlighting the star Pokémon from the set. For $19.99, you get a Shiny Gyarados promo card, a wonderfully sculpted Shiny Mega Gyarados figure by Kaiyodo, as well as four total booster packs: two XY: BREAKpoint packs, one XY: BREAKthrough pack, and one XY: Ancient Origins pack. While the promo isn’t anything to write home about, the figure is amazing. I love the Kaiyodo figures included with these releases, and Gyarados is no exception. The sculpt is great, the paint is great, and for a couple dollars more than retail price of four booster packs, is a great buy. If you’re a fan of Mega Gyarados, be it shiny or otherwise, I highly recommend hunting this set down.
