[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b0v3m_r4MuU]The next Cube Animal is Zyuoh Cube 6, DX Cube Gorilla, the Cube Animal belonging to Zyuoh Gorilla, Zyuoh Eagle’s secondary form using the Zyuman Power of Larry. Together with Cube Elephant and Cube Tiger, it can form Zyuoh Wild which can also use Cube Shark and Cube Lion in the same manner. Gorilla was released in April, 2016 for around ¥2,500.
Cube Gorilla has quickly made its way into my heart as my favorite of the Cube Animals released thus far. Look at that face! How can you not love this face. He’s even got a giant bazooka on his shoulder like some sort of soldier. What a bro. To top things off, Cube Gorilla even has a rocket punch feature! Sure, it’s a feature meant for Zyuoh Wild, but he can use it to, so why not? Zyuoh Wild looks great, and I absolutely prefer Gorilla over Eagle as a body. It’s a bit bulkier, the design is cooler, and that cool rocket punch feature carries over. While Zyuoh Wild 2-3-6 is probably my favorite form, the main form, 4-5-6 is just as neat.
Cube Gorilla is one that surely shouldn’t be passed up by fans of the series or fans of the toy line. It’s definitely an unpopular toy line thus far with western fans, but that doesn’t stop me from both loving it and recommending it. If you’re late to the game, Cube Elephant, Cube Tiger, and Cube Gorilla can all be purchased together as Zyuoh Wild in a set. If you want to delay your journey into cubes even further, a full set containing Cube Eagle, Shark, Lion, Elephant, Tiger, Gorilla, Kirin, and Mogura will be released early next month.
