The next Megazord for Power Rangers Dino (Super) Charge is the Plesio Charge Megazord, the robot form of the Plesio Zord belonging to the Purple Ranger. As mentioned, it can transform from dinosaur mode, to spaceship mode, to Megazord mode in a few easy steps. This dino can also combine with the T-Rex Zord and one other arm Zord to form a new combination. It’s the normal Megazord price at your local retailer, ranging from $29.99-$39.99.

This guy is my absolute favorite from both the Kyoryuger toy line and the Dino Charge toy line. It’s not the coolest looking thing in the world, but the combination of aquatic and space elements really do it for me. Plus the white and purple color scheme is pretty kicking. The dinosaur mode is large with plenty of heft despite being a Bandai America toy. Transformation to space ship mode is as simple as folding out the wings, which is perfectly fine. I dig it.

Megazord mode is unique to say the least, with the long neck of the dinosaur becoming a large arm cannon. Again, the colors just really work and the design is unique to the point where I just really like what they’re doing with it. The US toy is missing a lot of paint, but there’s enough going on to where it looks perfectly fine.

Combining into the Plesio Charge Megazord T-Rex Pachy Formation is less daunting then it looks, and is pretty easy to do after a transformation or two. I’ve always had a love-hate relationship with this mode. On one hand, the concept is actually pretty cool, with the large T-Rex head hanging out on the chest, but everything is so big and oddly proportioned that I can’t help but think it’s weird. The combination, despite plugging in to only a couple places, is pretty solid, despite suffering from the T-Rex Zord’s wiggly limbs.

Overall, Plesio Charge Megazord, despite some missing paint and general flaws, is still a really awesome toy that captured nearly everything that made Plezuon so great in the first place. For those on a budget, or just love what Bandai America has done with Zordbuilder, hunt this guy down if you haven’t yet already. I’m interested in seeing if this guy gets a repaint later on in the line, it could look pretty cool.
