Like the Mega Diancie EX Premium Collection, the Mega Absol EX Premium Collection brings us a $39.99 promotional set featuring six Booster Packs (two Phantom Forces, two Primal Clash, and two Roaring Skies). an Absol EX promo card (XY42), a Mega Absol EX promo card (XY43), a jumbo version of the Mega Absol EX card, a Mega Absol coin, and a Mega Absol pin. Like the Diancie one, these sets are still severely overpriced, and could easily be sold for $30 considering what they come with. With six packs at $4 each, that’s only $24 of the $40 total. $16 for two promos, a useless jumbo card, a coin, and a pin is pretty awful, considering those sort of extras are only a dollar or two in other promo sets. I’m not sure why the price is the way it is, but until the price goes down, these remain not worth it. Having purchased this for $30 from Collector’s Cache, I’m more satisfied with it than I would be other wise. My pulls still weren’t great though. Oh well. You win some and you lose some.
