Review

After traveling through the month of February with the mythical Mew, March lets us adventure with the time traveling Pokémon: Celebi! Like Mew, Celebi hits the scene with its own 8″ scale plush toy, as well as a Clip ‘n’ Carry Poké Ball release. Unlike Mew however, these releases are exclusive to Toys R Us for $16.99 and $14.99 respectively. It’s worth nothing that unlike Mew which was sold in a wrapped Great Ball on a store display, Celebi (and other Toys R Us Clip ‘n’ Carry Poké Ball releases) are being sold in a collectible box instead, causing quite the mess for in box displayers. As always, the plush is created with a crushed velvet material while the figure is done with a pearlescent finish like all of the current Pokémon 20 merchandise. Next month: Jirachi!
